Heidi brings over 15 years of sewing expertise to Gear is Joy. She founded the shop out of a personal passion, initially creating custom gear for her own standard poodle service dog, Rue. Every product was begun because of personal requests from friends, acquaintances and prior customers. Every single component to our gear has been hand-picked for it’s quality and USA sourcing. Once all components have been sourced, every single product is hand created with care and you in mind! This hands-on experience ensures every product is crafted with care, functionality, and the highest quality standards.
